Thursdays: Animal Tales, 10:15 am

Interactive story and lap-time for parents/caregivers and babies. Each week, an interactive sensory experience will accompany the nature-based story. This program is a great place to meet new friends; it consists of 10 minutes of story and activities, and 10 minutes of social time for adults. Ages baby-2.

Tuesdays: Collection Crafts, 10:15 am

Explore a single item from the Museum’s collection every week! Children will learn about animals, rocks, and more by exploring the gallery, interacting with objects, and creating a craft during table time.  Ages 3-5. This program lasts approx. 30 minutes.

Native American Culture with Alan Harrison
March 26th, 1:00 pm
Members: $3 Non-members: $10

Come learn how the Native Americans met their daily needs.  You will see and hold several of the tools that were used for farming and hunting, as well as help prepare cornmeal.  You will learn how the tools were made using the abundant natural resources of the region and compare them to items brought by the first European traders.

Wednesdays: Nature Sleuths (1st and 3rd), 4:00 pm

An after school nature club is perfect for inquisitive minds! Club participants will work together to solve mysteries about the natural world through weekly themes, and hands-on experiments. Every time you join in on the fun, you’ll get a stamp on one of our Club bingo cards; get 5 in a row and earn a Club badge! Ages 6-10. This program lasts approximately 45 minutes-1 hour.
