Copies of Murphy's book will be for sale and some of the museum's snakes will be on hand for visiting! Dissection Workshop: Sharks August 6, 10-11:30 am Non-members: $20/person, Members: $18/person Fossil Find! August 7, 9-11:30 am (program will also be offered October 2, 9-11:30 am) $20/person or $55/family Try your hand at fossil hunting at Vulcan Materials Quarry. We will meet at the quarry and learn about mining and fossils before heading into the field. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited, call 815-895-9777 to register. See live butterflies in different life stages and watch Janie tag and release Monarchs at the end of the program! A great program for ages 6 and up, but all are welcome.
