May I Take Photos?
You are welcome to take pictures. Did you get a great shot? We love it when guests share their photos with the musuem. Your picture may even end up in our marketing materials! You can email your photos to director@mmnh.org. Artists, carvers and sculptors are also invited to bring their sketch pads.
Food and Drink
The Oasis Room on our lower level is a great place to rest while eating your sack lunch; however, no food or drink is allowed elsewhere in the museum. There are some great places to eat within walking distance of the musuem too. Inquire at the Guest Services desk.
Please Don't Feed the Animals
Touching the preserved animals on exhibit is not good for their health. Please don't. But what about the live ones? When a handler is available you will be invited to touch snakes, lizards, and turtles from the live animal collection! |
