Parrot Trivia

All ages

$3.00 members/$3.00 plus admission non-members

How much do you know about parrots?  Join us as audience members read Trivia questions and “vote” on whether they are true or false. Our parrot friends from Ollie's Parrot Perch will show why the questions are true or false. 

School's Out Day

Free for members/Included in museum admission

Caring for Your Dog or Cat

Kids Science Series

January 24, 2010  2:30-3:30 pm

Free for members/One free admission per family for non-members with donation to the DeKalb County Animal Shelter

Roberta Shoaf from the DeKalb County Animal Shelter will be here to teach young children the basic responsibilities of caring for their dog or cat.

Donation items: soft dog toys (no plastic please), cans of ground meat dog food, 9x13 aluminum trays, containers of kitty litter.

Groundhog Gala & Silent Auction

January 30, 2010 6:00-9:00 pm

Benefit tickets $30 each/2 for $50

Enjoy a fabulous evening filled with entertainment, exhibitors and fun!  Our annual benefit. Native American Flute players, Aboriginal Art display by Pam Vovola, Traveling World of Reptiles, Brian Hampton Photographer, and Dr. Fred Smith Archeological Display.  Appetizers, beer and wine from 'around the world'.
