Do you ever wonder if the characters on TV's "CSI" and "Bones" can really learn about a person by looking at their bones? The answer is yes! Well, mostly yes. Come explore the real world of forensic anthropology during this hands-on presentation by Fred and Maria Smith, scientists who work with human bones on a daily basis. You'll learn how to determine the age and sex of skeletons and how to spot unusual characteristics. This class is intended for adults and students in junior high and up. Younger students with strong interest in the subject are welcome, but should be accompanied by an adult.
